I’m a frequent visitor of London, most of the time for work reasons. I prefer its hotels but my experience of Covent Garden hotel made a great distinction. You cannot probably get lost, as the hotel is centrally positioned, and in among London’s best local neighborhoods inside the West End. The fact is that, it’s just a few steps far from the Covent Garden. Not far away, you can find lovely boutiques, little cafes and a gorgeous French cafe just across the avenue. This is a ideal place to sit and watch Londoners strutting all over the streets full of life.
The hotel’s interior design is not only unique, but also very legendary. Based on locals, the Hotel was in the past a hospital which in 1996 was rehabilitated to the most charming thing you may probably discover in London. The front door is beautifully decorated with a mixture of both vintage and modern dcor. I fell in love with the spectacular staircases adorned in wonderful decorations. My room was a mix of tapestry and hand made Asian fabrics simply to give it a very nice feel. Covent Garden Hotel includes a welcoming lobby and unlike almost all hotels within London, my room was quite spacious, and had each of the comfort and ease you desire to get, and undoubtedly perfect for family.
The lavatories are luxurious and modern, with high-class double showers. You will find there’s TV and laptop for yourself in their rooms, and dependable internet connection is a guarantee. Those on business don’t need to be worried about leaving their laptop or having problems working during the night.
One unique thing about Covent Garden Hotel is that even though it caters for those stressful business driven visitors, it also aims to provide families as well as other visitors a homey atmosphere.
The hotel personnel is quite friendly as well as helpful, and definately will always rush to open the door for everyone. Actually I noticed a few chocolates and strawberries inside my room. I was so surprised by this gesture. It was pretty good for me, especially coming after having a long day flying. It absolutely was nice to finally obtain some peace of mind!. Other facilities offered include a gym/fitness room, bar, cafe having healthy food, properly stocked and elegant library and also a drawing room.
